FAIRFAX CITY, VA — Drivers hoping to access Interstate 66 in Virginia from northbound Nutley Street will need to find an alternate route Monday afternoon, as downed wires are blocking the ramp to I-66 east.

Work crews will need to remove and replace a downed pole, according to a 12:35 p.m. post on the Virginia Department of Transportation's official Twitter account. The ramp is expected to reopen at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
