City Of Fairfax Police Charge Reston Man With Assault For Incident In Old Town

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police charged a Reston man with assault Tuesday afternoon in Old Town, according to the daily crime report.

Officers responded around 12:12 p.m. to the 10500 block of Main Street for the report of an assault. The victim told police they were pulling into a parking lot when a man walked up to their vehicle, punched the passenger side window and cursed at them. Police located the man nearby and took him into custody.

After transporting 29-year-old Deonte Harris-Stewart of Reston to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, they charged him with assault. In addition, the Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office cited Harris-Stewart on other charges in reference to an incident that took place in their jurisdiction. Harris-Stewart was then held without bond.
