Main Street to Close Overnight in Fairfax
Roadwork from Chain Bridge Road to East Street, according to the City of Fairfax.
FAIRFAX CITY, VA — Main Street will be closed to traffic Tuesday night from Chain Bridge Road to East Street for construction work.
The closure is scheduled for 8 p.m.-5 a.m. Flagmen will be on hand so local traffic and access buildings and parking lots.
Also closed will be the northbound side of University Drive at the work zone. Two-way traffic will be maintained in the southbound lanes.

Chain Bridge is an alternate north-south route through downtown Fairfax.
