Set a Goal You can Reach!

A new year is coming. And you are going to LOSE WEIGHT! Wait a minute. Wasn't that LAST YEAR's goal? So what happened? Maybe your goal is just too....vague. Try for a concrete goal: "I will do 10 pushups." Hmmm. Still a bit vague. "I will do 10 pushups every other day for one month." That's it? You can do better. "I will do 10 pushups every other day for one month and then increase to 15. And I'll buy myself a new workout top as a reward when I get to 15." Ahh...now you're talking! You've set a goal you can accomplish. You've set yourself measurements (number of pushups and time). You've built in a challenge--another goal you can reach. And you're planning a reward. Good for you. Go for it and you'll most likely lose that weight along the way!
