Sheehy-Fairfax Purchases Patriot Harley-Davidson

Most of Harley dealer's employees to be retained, says Sheehy.

One of the Washington region’s biggest auto dealers is branching out to motorcycles.

Sheehy-Fairfax LLC announced Tuesday the acquisition of Patriot Harley-Davidson, a motorcycle dealership at 9739 Fairfax Blvd. in Fairfax.

“We are excited to bring such a unique and prestigious brand into the Sheehy family,” said Vince Sheehy, president of Sheehy-Fairfax LLC, in a press release. “We will continue the terrific Patriot Harley-Davidson tradition of great customer satisfaction in both sales and service.”

Sheehy-Fairfax said it plans to retain most of the Harley dealership’s 72 current employees.

The 42,345-square-foot dealership, home of the Fairfax, Virginia Harley Owners Group (HOG), will feature more than 90 pre-owned and more than 100 new motorcycles and offer finance and insurance; parts and accessories; a MotorClothes department; Riding Academy with a brand new Harley-Davidson fleet of training bikes; service department; and state-of-the-art Dyno Tuning facility.
