Sidewalk Closures Begin on Parts of Fairfax Boulevard

The closures, set for Feb. 16-March 31, is because of repair work on the stone wall from Rebel Run to Plantation Parkway, says the city.

FAIRFAX, VA — A portion of the eastbound sidewalk on Fairfax Boulevard from Rebel Run to Plantation Parkway will be closed beginning today and continuing through March 3, according to city officials.

The move is necessitated by re-capping work being done on the stone wall.

The work will be conducted in two phases, and pedestrians will be directed to use the sidewalk on westbound Fairfax Boulevard during that time.
