Latest forecast for Winter Storm Iola calls for a mess of snow and rain in the region, according to the National Weather Service.

Winter Storm Iola was named Wednesday afternoon after storm warnings were issued in the Southwest, according to the Weather Channel.

Most of the weekend snow — if any — is predicted to fall between Friday night and Saturday morning.

  • Saturday Night: A chance of rain and snow before 7pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
