Soft Surroundings Store Opens at Fairfax Corner
The retailer carries women's clothing, make-up, jewelry, home decor and more.

A new women’s clothing, accessories and home furnishings store, Soft Surroundings, held its grand opening Friday at Fairfax Corner. The store is located at 11948 Grand Commons Ave. (see Google map below).
The store, which has its roots in St. Louis, Mo., caters to ”busy women of all ages.” The company mailed its first catalog in 1999 and opened its first store in 2004 in St. Louis.
The company carries clothing, jewelry, shoes, home decor and bedding and designs the majority of its fashion and bedding in St. Louis.

The store’s motto is ”my time, my place, my self,” and “reminds women that self-care is not selfish, it’s essential. Their philosophy is that women can do something special for themselves everyday by simply wearing Soft Surroundings’ stylish but comfortable, easy fit clothing, sleeping on incredibly soft bedding to hasten slumber and by using the best, latest and most timesaving skincare.”
In addition to Fairfax, other new markets Soft Surroundings is expanding to include Seattle, Cleveland, Bridgewater, N.J., and Tucson.

The new locations not only feature the popular merchandise found in the Soft Surroundings catalogs and website, but also offer customers a variety of unique, store-exclusive merchandise to further enhance their shopping experience.
