Stabbing Leaves Man Hospitalized In Woodbridge: Police

A man was hospitalized with serious injuries after being stabbed Sunday in Woodbridge, according to Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man was hospitalized with serious injuries after being stabbed Sunday in the 13400 block of Princedale Drive, according to Prince William County Police, and his assailant was arrested Monday. Eldridge Banson, 45, was charged with aggravated malicious wounding and is being held without bond.

Around 3:30 p.m., police began investigating a reported stabbing. They found that the victim, 32, had been in an argument with a acquaintance that escalated. That's when Banson allegedly whipped out a knife and stabbed the victim in the upper body. Banson fled and the victim went to an area hospital. His injuries were serious but not life threatening.
