Stolen Golf Clubs Not Stolen For Long in Fairfax: Police

A thief apparently had second thoughts after stealing clubs from an unlocked truck. They were found, say Fairfax Police, in a nearby yard.

FAIRFAX, VA — Two lessons can be gleaned from an incident reported Tuesday morning in the 3500 block of Country Hill Drive to Fairfax Police.

First, if you're storing a presumably valuable set of golf trunks in your trunk, you might want to make sure the vehicle is locked.

Second, if you steal a set of golf clubs from a trunk in the middle of the night, you probably will reconsider after realizing those things are heavy and make a lot of noise.
