Fairfax City Summer Camps in 2017 offer quite the wide variety of options for kids. Traditional camps begin June 29 and run through Aug. 11.

FAIRFAX, VA — It's not too late to register for the wide variety of summer camps put on by the City of Fairfax, which begin June 29 and run through Aug. 11.
The camps are fully accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA), and the city says it's the only government jurisdiction with its camps accredited in the Northern Virginia Region.
According to the city, it strives "to provide programs that will allow children to grow and develop intellectually, physically, culturally and socially.

Traditional Camps
Full Summer Dates: Thurs. June 29th - Friday, August 11th
(NEW! This year, sessions will be divided into one-week sessions)

- Week 1: Thurs. June 29th – Fri. June 30th (two days)
- Week 2: July 3rd –7th (Four Days, No camp July 4th)
- Week 3: July 10th –14th
- Week 4: July 17th –21st
- Week 5: July 24th- 28th
- Week 6: July 31st – Aug 4th
- Week 7: Aug 7th – 11th
