Teen Easter Egg Hunt Canceled; Other Fairfax Holiday Events Still On

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — Thursday night's Egg-streme Night Egg Hunt at the Historic Blenheim Civil War Interpretive Center has been canceled due to inclement weather. The city announced the cancelation of the teen-focused holiday event just before noon on Thursday.

Despite the cancelation, there are still a number of other Easter-themed events taking place in and around the city for people to enjoy.

Tweens & Teens Easter Bunny Cake Decorating Class: Teens and tweens can decorate their own Easter Bunny cake from 1-3 p.m., on Friday, April 8. Fran's Cake & Candy Supplies, which is located at 10927 Main St., is hosting the event.

2022 Easter Egg Hunt: Children 10 and under will get a head start at 11 a.m. to hunt for eggs on Saturday, April 9 at Van Dyck Park, which is located at 3720 Old Lee Highway in Fairfax. Children will be able to enjoy a Moonbounce and have their photos taken with the Easter Bunny.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny: Dave and Buster's at Fair Oaks Shopping is hosting a breakfast with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, April 9, at 9 a.m. Tickets are available at two ticket levels. Both the Bunny Ticket and Chick Ticket provide access to Dave and Buster's breakfast buffet and let you have your photo taken with the Easter Bunny. The Bunny Ticket also comes with a $15 power card.

Easter Sugar Cookies: Learn how to decorate Easter cookies from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., on Saturday, April 9. Fran's Cake & Candy Supplies, which is located at 10927 Main St., is hosting the event.
