Thief Steals Credit Card, Goes Grocery Shopping In Fairfax

A thief stole a credit card Sunday, then went next door and used it to buy groceries. Too, the rest of Monday's Fairfax Police crime report.

FAIRFAX, VA — Ah, the holiday spirit. Good deeds abound. Or not. Just take this example from Monday's Fairfax Police crime report. Early Sunday afternoon, the victim told police she inadvertently left her credit card at store beside the Shoppers Food Warehouse at 9622 Main Street.

Someone found it. So of course it immediately was turned in to a store employee, right? Nope. Someone did, in fact, find it. But instead of returning it, that someone walked next door to Shoppers and went grocery shopping with it. Ah, the holiday spirit. Also in Monday's crime report:

11020 Fairfax Boulevard / Fairfax Honda – On December 1 at 8:11 AM an employee reported that sometime after 10:00 PM on November 30 unknown person(s) had broken windows on two vehicles on the dealership’s lot and stolen the wheel rims from one of them.
