Threat To Shoot Up School Found On Bathroom Wall At Fairfax City School Investigated
Police were called to Katherine Johnson Middle School Thursday morning to investigate a threatening message scrawled on a bathroom.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police responded Thursday morning to Katherine Johnson Middle School for the report of a threatening message being found.
"Basically, somebody just wrote on a wall just inside a bathroom, saying that they were going to shoot up the school," said Sgt. Lisa Gardner, a public information officer with city police. "We didn't know when it took place. It was just reported to us. So, went out there and did our due diligence and we're still out there still investigating."
At no time was the school placed on lockdown, according to Gardiner. Students were kept in their classrooms while police conducted their initial investigation. Seeing no immediate danger, the school was allowed to resume its regular activities.
