Traffic Alert: Two Lanes of Route 29 Closed Again Today
Crews have set up a work zone to make emergency sewer line repairs.
FAIRFAX CITY, VA -- Two lanes of Lee Highway (Route 29) will be closed again today as work crews make emergency repairs to a sewer line, and drivers should use alternate routes.
Through 4 p.m., a work zone will block the center and left lanes of southbound Route 29 between Blake Lane and Fairfax Circle, according to Fairfax City officials.
The emergency repairs began Wednesday, and city officials did not indicate when they'll be completed. Traffic control devices will direct motorists around the work zone.
