Traffic Alert: Warning Period Ending for New Red Light Camera
The device is aiding traffic enforcement on Fairfax Boulevard.

A 30-day warning period ends next week for drivers on a Fairfax City street that is being monitored by a new red light camera.
The city installed the camera last month to monitor eastbound traffic on Fairfax Boulevard (Route 29/50) at Plantation Parkway. The city police will begin using it for enforcement purposes next Monday, according to a police statement, handing out tickets to motorists who are caught on camera running the red lights at the intersection.
