Trespassing Charges Filed Against Same Suspect 2 Days In A Row: Police

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police responded around 8:40 a.m., on Dec. 11, to the Wawa located at 9700 Fairfax Blvd. for the report of a larceny.

The person who reported the incident told officers that a man entered the business, took a consumable item, and then left the store without paying. The officers located the suspect nearby and took him into custody.

Police identified the suspect as 29-year-old Circelle Overton of no fixed address. He was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he was charged with petit larceny and trespassing and held without bond.

Around 5:36 a.m. on the following day, police returned to the convenience store, after receiving a report that Overton was on the business' property despite being trespassed. Officers arrested the suspect and took him to the detention center for the second morning in a row. Overton was
