Authorities are looking for someone who stole two coins from Penny Pincher Coins: Fairfax Police. Also, the rest of the crime report.

FAIRFAX, VA — Authorities are looking for someone who stole two coins Thursday from Penny Pincher Coins at 10409 Main Street, according to Fairfax Police. Around 8:45 p.m., the owner said an unknown person had taken the coins earlier that day from a display case. Also in Friday's Fairfax Police report:

Westmore Drive / Fairfax Street – On September 28 at 11:50 AM an officer observed that unknown person(s) had spray painted graffiti on a pavement marking and a traffic sign.

Eluding Police Arrest

Fairfax Boulevard / Chain Bridge Road – On September 29 at 1:21 AM an officer observed a motorcycle being operated at a high rate of speed. The operator failed to stop for police and ran a red light. Subsequent investigation by the Field Operations Division led to the identification of the operator. Shomari Carroll, 24, of 10203 Sager Avenue, Fairfax, was taken into custody at his residence. He was transported to the Adult Detention Center where he was charged with felony eluding police, reckless driving and driving on a suspended license. His bond was set at $2000.
