Vehicle Returned For Service To Same Dealership It Was Stolen From
City of Fairfax Police arrested an Ashburn man after he took a vehicle for service to the same dealership it had been stolen from.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — A 30-year-old Ashburn man is in police custody after the vehicle he dropped off at a Fairfax car dealership for service turned out to have been stolen from the same dealership in January, according to a police release.
On Jan. 24, at 5:47 p.m., the Ted Britt Ford dealership at 11165 Fairfax Blvd. in Fairfax City reported that a vehicle had been stolen from its lot.
On Sunday, City of Fairfax Police arrested Zachary Hunn of 44587 Granite Run Terrace in Ashburn, after the stolen vehicle was taken to the same dealership for service.

Hunn was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he was charged with grand larceny-auto, according to police. He was then held on a $3,000 secured bond.
The stolen vehicle was located unoccupied and recovered with the help of the Town of Herndon Police Department.
