Tomorrow! March 27 Boomers Are Invited to Frying Pan Park for Venture Into Volunteering
Are you 55 years young or better? That's the Cat's Pajamas, Daddy-O! You are invited to join other Boomers and Greatest Generation folks at Venture into Volunteering on Thursday, March 27, 10 am-noon at Frying Pan Park in Herndon, VA.
The generation that rocked to Elvis and drove around in VW Beetles are a vital resource in our community. Yeah, you! You have the ability to change the world…or at least your neighborhood. No need to join the Peace Corp. Volunteer right here at home! Are you a math wizard? Spent time in a courtroom? Like driving? There are lots of way to give back--now that you have been there--done that.
Venture into Volunteering is co-sponsored by Fairfax County’s Volunteer Solutions, Fairfax County Park Authority, AARP, and RSVP Northern Virginia, including Volunteer Fairfax, Volunteer Alexandria and Volunteer Arlington.
