FAIRFAX, VA — Just like Popeye the Sailor doesn't like bullies messing with his spinach, a feral cat named for the cartoon character apparently doesn't like anybody bothering him or his food either.

The family of a Patch editor who lives outside the City of Fairfax has been feeding a feral cat since early last year. They installed a Ring video camera to watch Popeye, who visits their house off and on throughout the day.

From early on, the camera has captured video of other late-night visitors besides Popeye, including mice and a fox.
