Vote For Mayor Friday at Sisson House in Fairfax
With some residents having the day off for the Inauguration, city officials officials suggest stopping by to vote absentee in person.
FAIRFAX, VA — City officials provided a suggestion Friday for all city residents — namely, that today would be a good day to vote absentee in person.
With many folks having a day off because of the Presidential Inauguration, the city is inviting anyone to stop by the Sisson House, 10455 Armstrong Street, where in-person absentee voting will be held until 5 p.m. Also, with the special election for mayor Feb. 7, some reminders:
- Jan. 24 is the last day to register to vote.
- Feb. 4 is the last day to absentee vote in person.
- Jan. 31 is the last day to request a mail-in ballot.
