Which is Best - Apple, Orange, Banana?

If you had to choose either an apple, an orange, or a banana – which is best, health-wise?

Banana

·        Good source of vitamin B6, magnesium, iron, vitamin C, dietary fiber

·        Of the 3, best choice to help you feel fuller

Apple

·        Good source of soluble fiber - helps control blood pressure, lipids, cholesterol and blood sugar

·        Good for upset stomach

·        Loaded with antioxidants - good for heart health and could have anti-cancer properties

Orange

·        120% of daily required vitamin C

·        Good source of calcium, folate, thiamin, anti-oxidants, and an anti-inflamatory (helps protect immune system)

·        Lowest in calories of the 3 - not the best choice if you are really hungry

Answer

·       They are all good for you…

·       But if you can take only 1 – take the Orange, it has biggest nutritional bang-for-the-buck (and Lions sell them!***)

·       Thought…why not try all 3 every day?
