Winter Break Camps Available in Fairfax
Several camps are being offered at the Sherwood Community Center, but they come with a price.
FAIRFAX, VA — Looking for a way to entertain the kids while school is taking a break over the holidays? Here are some ideas, albeit quite pricey.
The City of Fairfax is offering camps at the Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center, 3740 Old Lee Highway.
They run Dec. 19-22 and Dec. 27-30.

Tiny Chefs Superhero Adventures
Ages 5-12
Dec. 19-22, 9:00am-3:00pm
Fee: $325
Our tiny and gourmet chefs will make their favorite character's meals and end the week designing their own superhero.
Around the World Adventure with Art Bug!
Ages 6-12
Dec. 19-22, 9:00am-3:00pm
Fee: $240
Travel around the world through art, no passport required! We'll focus on how children are celebrated during the holiday season with folk art through drawing, painting, and sculpting.
Student Holiday LEGO Camp!
Ages 6-11
Dec. 27-30, 9:00am-5:00pm
Fee: $70 per day
Build, design puzzles, create sculptures, and more with specialty LEGO pieces, ending each day with a lego-themed video.
