Winter Weather: News And Information For February 10-12, Fairfax City

Fairfax City forecasts include the possibility of a winter storm beginning Wednesday evening, February 10, into Friday, February 12. Another winter storm is possible from Saturday through Sunday, February 13-14. This forecast is subject to change; check with the National Weather Service for current information.

City Service Information:

  • City crews are pre-treating primary and residential roads in the city in preparation of inclement weather.
  • Park off-street (in driveways and designated parking lots/areas) when possible before the inclement weather begins to allow vehicles treating and plowing roads efficient, and emergency vehicles, access to public roads.
  • Secure outdoor items or store them safely.
  • Bring pets indoors to keep them safe and warm. If it's too cold for you outdoors, it's too cold for them.
