FAIRFAX CITY, VA — A 53-year-old woman was arrested for assault after she slapped another woman in the face after being barred from entering a daytime drop-in homeless center in Fairfax City, according to the weekly crime report.

Officers responded around 11:37 a.m., on Friday for the report of an assault at The Lamb Center, which is located at 3160 Campbell Drive. The victim, who declined medical treatment, told police that the suspect slapped her in the face after being denied access to the center, according to police.

The officers located Michelle Feldbauer of no fixed address intoxicated nearby. She was then taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and charged with assault and drunk in public. Feldbauer remained in custody on a $1,000 secured bond until she was sober, according to police.
