Woman Strangled by Acquaintance in Fairfax: Police

A man was arrested, charged and held without bond in the Sunday incident at Foxcroft Colony Condominiums, according to Fairfax Police

FAIRFAX, VA — A woman was assaulted and strangled by an acquaintance Sunday night in the 9400 block of Fairfax Boulevard at Foxcroft Colony Condominiums, according to Fairfax Police.

Noel Andres Portillo, 26, of the 9400 block of Fairfax Boulevard, was charged with felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault.

He's being held without bond.

Shortly before 8:30 p.m., the victim told police of the assault and Portillo was arrested at the scene.

9590 Lee Highway / Kaizen Karate Parking Lot – On February 22 at 6:31 PM the vehicle owner reported that about 5:45 PM unknown person(s) had stolen her wallet from the front seat of her unlocked parked vehicle. The wallet contained cash, credit cards and identification.
