
The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship DC Region (NFTE DC Region) elected Fairfax resident Cheryl Dickison to its board of directors for a three-year term.
Dickison is vice president of sales for the East Region at R2integrated. She has established R2integrated as a leader in the digital marketing arena through her work in seeking out and identifying new business opportunities through partnerships, strategic relationships and sales. After a long career in managing an in-house agency for a financial services association, Dickison switched gears and became the East Coast director of sponsorship sales for Kidz Magazine. In addition to serving on the NFTE DC Region board and as the programs committee chair, Dickison is on the board of advisors for the Capitol Communicator and serves as a judge of the business plan competition held by James Madison University’s College of Business. She holds a bachelor’s in business administration from James Madison University and an MBA from George Mason University.
NFTE DC Region provides entrepreneurship programs that inspire young people from low-income communities to stay in school, to recognize business opportunities and to plan for successful futures.
