Franchise Fair Heads to Reston to Help Entrepreneurs Explore Small Business Ownership and Avoid Missteps

The Capital Area Franchise Fair, the
semi-annual learning event hosted by FranNet of Virginia in partnership with the Community Business Partnership and SCORE, will help prospective entrepreneurs explore the variety of franchise options. The fair features a variety of expert speakers and panel discussions designed to help attendees find the franchise that is the best fit, learn about industry trends and how to maximize return on
investment, understand the franchise business model, and make informed decisions to achieve their financial, professional and personal goals. FranNet of Virginia
is a franchise matchmaking service in Virginia and DC that provides free counseling as well as educational seminars to aspiring entrepreneurs through
SCORE and the Virginia Small Business Development Centers; government agencies; and local military bases.

different industries that fit a variety of budgets and interests. Finding the right fit is important for success.  Most people equate franchise with “fast food;” but many exist that require fewer hours and far less start-up funds and
generate greater profits. That’s why the Capital Area Franchise Fair, hosted by FranNet of Virginia, will help attendees explore different options and learn about navigating the franchise research and ownership process.
