The Good Shepherd Players community theatre group in Burke VA is pleased to announce its production of the beloved musical Godspell on the weekends of May 10-11 and May 17-19.
Performances are at the Church of the Good Shepherd at 9350 Braddock Rd. (corner of Braddock and Olley Lane). Ticket prices are $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for children (18 and younger). Tickets can be purchased at the church office (703-323-5400) and online at www.goodshepherdplayers.com.
Godspell offers a unique reflection on the life of Jesus, with its always timely message of community, kindness, tolerance and love. The musical is based on the Gospel According to St. Matthew, and features a sparkling score by award-winning composer Stephen Schwartz (Children of Eden, Wicked), including the modern gospel classic ”Day By Day.”
