SIX FLAGS AMERICA OPENS 2013 SEASON ON MARCH 23 WITH NBC’S THE BIGGEST LOSER MICHAEL DORSEY AND NOAH “BIINGO” GRAY

Six Flags America kicks off Opening Weekend, which is presented by Lowe’s, on Saturday, March 23, 2013. Stars from NBC’s The Biggest Loser Michael Dorsey and teen participant Noah “Biingo” Gray, will be on hand to welcome guests and officially start the 2013 season.

“I’ve been a coaster enthusiast since I was a little kid,” said Michael Dorsey. “I absolutely love riding roller coasters…I’m so excited to be living my dream again and riding all the coasters at Six Flags America on opening weekend.”

As part of opening day festivities, Six Flags will be donating $1,000 to Carmody Hills Elementary School for the purchase of physical education equipment for the students who attend the Prince Georges county school.

Park hours opening day are 10:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.  Dorsey and Gray will lead a short work out for the students from Carmody Hills Elementary School and park guests will be invited to join the fun. After the workout Park President Rick Howarth will present Principal Alford with a check for new the exercise equipment.
