The Art Guild of Clifton is hosting a grand opening art show, sale and reception this Saturday.
The non-profit group of 20 artists will be displaying their work at the NoVa Music Center.
“We will have potters and painters of all different styles,” said Merle Engel, a Clifton resident who designs jewelry and is helping to organize the association.

This will be the first major show for the group, which formed in January. They hope to become a “mini Lorton Workhouse” with artists teaching, creating, and exhibiting art.
“People have said 'What about Lorton?' But I live so close to Main Street I’ve noticed the foot traffic on that avenue,” Engel said at a recent town meeting.
