Crime Report: Fairfax Motorcyclist Chased by Police
The following incidents were reported to the Sully and West Springfield District Stations, which include parts of Fairfax Station and Clifton.
Sully District Station
Traffic stop
A 22-year-old Fairfax man was charged with speeding to elude, driving on a suspended license, and improperly mounted license plate.

The Fairfax County Police Department reports that at 3 p.m. Wednesday on I-66 and Sully Road, police tried to pull over a motorcycle, but the motorcyclist sped away. A helicopter came into assist, and police arrested Eric Eberhardt in the incident.

- 13800 block of Braddock Road: credit card, clothing and cash were reported stolen from a business
West Springfield District Station
Burglary
A resident reported jewelry stolen from their Annandale home.
The incident took place at 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday on the 4700 block of Commons Drive. Police said the burglar entered the home through an unlocked door.
Larcenies:
- 8900 block of Home Guard Drive: cell phone reported stolen from school
- 9000 block of Orange Hunt: license plate reported stolen from vehicle
