Theater Troupe Puts on 'Seussical the Musical'

The shows start next week.

A local theater group with a Fairfax Station actor will perform “Seussical the Musical” next week.

The show, performed by Burke-based group The Good Shepherd Players, is based on the popular children’s books. The story centers around Horton the Elephant, who finds himself faced with the challenge of protecting his friend and guarding an abandoned egg.

Fairfax Station resident Bill Robinson will be playing a “Who” character in the show.

The theater troupe is affiliated with the , where the five performances will take place.

The performances are scheduled for June 8, June 9, June 15, June 16, and June 17. Both evening and matinees are available. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children ages 5 through 18, and children under 4 are free. To purchase tickets, visit www.goodshepherdplayers.com or call 703-323-5400.
