Car Stolen While Idling in Front of Falls Church-Area Home

Fairfax County Police report that a car was stolen last week while idling in front of the victim’s home.

The incident took place in the 7600 block of Lisle Ave, on Wednesday, Aug. 13 at 6:27 a.m.

The victim’s vehicle was parked in the parking lot in front of the residence idling. The suspect entered the victim’s vehicle and drove off.

Responding officers located the vehicle in the parking lot of a shopping center and arrested Carlton Taylor, 51, of Falls Church. Taylor was charged with grand larceny, driving on a suspended operator’s license and petty larceny.
