In late July & early August when Northern Virginia & the neighboring area’s produce is at its peak, we’re getting our favorite local farmers, local brewers, local food suppliers, and other local food heroes together to celebrate the season’s harvest. All of our favorite partners and suppliers will be here, offering seasonal tastes of their local produce at its peak of perfection. We’ll be pouring local brews and offering... customers tastes of some of our most interesting craft brews.

We’ll have live music from local musicians, and great cooking demonstrations from some of the hottest local chefs in town.

Our store artist Emily will also be interviewing our food heroes and Falls Church community folks to gather their food stories. She’ll create artwork inspired by their stories, which we’ll gather and create a display in our café.

Who else is invited? Our friends at the Fairfax County Restoration Project who are working with three local Homeowners Associations to recruit a team of master gardeners, small farmers, beekeepers and birdwatchers. The group’s aim is to create a Cooperative Garden within Falls Church that will benefit the local community. Come and join in.

WHOLE FOODS MARKET + LOCAL FOOD SUPPLIERS

Our history and reputation are intimately linked to our support of local farmers. For more than 25 years, we have worked to provide you with the broadest possible selection of the highest quality produce available. Our search for that produce begins right outside our front door in every community where we do business. We are permanently committed to buying from local producers whose fruits and vegetables meet our high quality standards, particularly those who farm organically and are themselves dedicated to environmentally friendly, sustainable agriculture.
