Falls Church Crime: Burglary, Graffiti, Destruction of Property Reported

Driving Under the Influence, 900 block W. Broad St. On Sep. 22, Van N. Duong, 31, of Arlington, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Destruction of Property, 6763 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Sep. 22, a lock to an entrance door was found damaged.

Defrauding an Innkeeper, 502 W. Broad St. (Hoang’s Grill and Sushi Bar) On Sep.22, two individuals left the restaurant without paying for the meal and service.

Driving Under the Influence, Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test, Resisting Arrest, and Public Drunkenness, 400 block W. Broad St. On Sep. 23, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, Robert A. Bacon, 33, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence, Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test, Resisting Arrest, and Public Drunkenness.

Driving Under the Influence, 300 block Parker Ave. On Sep. 24, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, Daniel Miranda Reyes, 51, of Silver Spring, MD, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Burglary, 300 block Sycamore St. On Sep. 24, an unknown person gained access via a window and stole several items.

Larceny from Building, 400 block N. Washington St. On Sep. 25, a bicycle was reported stolen.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 300 block Parker Ave. On Sep. 25, a handbag was reported stolen from a vehicle.

Graffiti, 1000 block W Broad St. (W&OD Trail) On Sep. 26, graffiti were found on the bridge support.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 1000 block Birch St. On Sep. 26, several items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 6700 block Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Sep. 26, a window was smashed and a purse was reported stolen.

Driving Under the Influence and Drinking While Driving, 900 block S. Washington St. On Sep. 27, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, Diego Martinez Miranda, 27, of Annandale, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence, and Drinking While Driving.

Public Drunkenness, 6619 Wilson Blvd. (New Moon Restaurant) On Sep. 27, Juan Antonio Portillo Membreno, 37, of Alexandria, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.
