Falls Church Crime Report: Shoplifting, DUI, Graffiti + More

• Graffiti, 700 block Park Ave. On Sep. 29, graffiti were found on a traffic sign.
• Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 100 block Hillwood Ave. On Sep. 30, a license plate was stolen from a parked vehicle.
• Larceny of Motor Vehicle Parts, 1107 W. Broad St. (U-Haul) On Sep. 30, a dolly was reported stolen from the premises.
• Public Drunkenness, 1200 W. Broad St. (Citgo Gas) On Sep.30, Janice R. Hawald, 58, of Falls Church, was arrested for Public Drunkenness.
• Larceny from Building, 1230 W. Broad St. (Giant Foods) On Sep. 30, a wallet was reported stolen.
• Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 6763-R Wilson Blvd. (Planet Fitness) On Sep. 30, a wallet was stolen from the victim’s vehicle.
• Shoplifting, 1212 W. Broad St. (Virginia ABC Store) On Sep. 30, Janice R. Hawald, 58, of Falls Church, was arrested for Petit Larceny.
• Larceny from Building, 300 W. Broad St. (Stratford Motor Lodge) On Oct. 2, various personal items were reported stolen.
• Graffiti, 200 block S. Cherry St. On Oct. 1, graffiti were found on a traffic sign.
• Smoking In a Non-Designated Area 6757 Wilson Blvd. #17 (Hoa Vien Quan Karakoke) On Oct. 2, Huy N. Nguyen, 40, of Springfield, was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated.
• Stolen Vehicle, 1100 block W. Broad St. On Oct. 4, a black Toyota Avalon was reported
• stolen.
• Driving Under the Influence, Drinking While Driving, and Public Drunkenness, 500 block S. Washington St. On Oct. 4, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, William O. Hernandez Gonzalez, 29, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Drinking While Driving. The passenger, Rosali Amaya Alberto, 24, of Falls Church was arrested for public drunkenness.
