Man Assaulted, Robbed as He Arrives Home: Police

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — A 45-year old man was assaulted and robbed by three suspects just after midnight Monday when he arrived home, according to Fairfax County Police.

Police say the robbery took place in the 7200 block of Marc Dr., in the West Falls Church area of the county (see map below).

The man arrived home from work when he was approached by three black males, police said. The suspects struck the victim several times and took his wallet and cell phone, according to police.

Credit cards and an undisclosed amount of cash were in the wallet. The victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries. No further suspect description was available.
