Virginia State Police say the moped collided with another vehicle Thursday afternoon and are seeking witnesses to the crash.

An Arlington man riding his moped was killed Thursday afternoon at the eastbound Interstate 66 Falls Church exit ramp and Virginia State Police say another car was involved but was not at the scene.
At 4:35 p.m. Thursday, Virginia State Police Trooper T.J. Patrick responded to a single-vehicle crash along Interstate 66 at the Falls Church exit ramp (I67 mile marker) in Fairfax County.
A black 2012 Intercept moped was lying on its side near the left curb of the exit ramp with severe damage, according to state police. Its rider, Jerry Knight, 51, of Arlington, was found deceased next to the moped, state police said. Knight was wearing a helmet.
