FALLS CHURCH, VA -- A team of police and FBI agents has identified an Arlington man, charged with robbing a Falls Church bank on Friday, as the “Forever Loyal Bandit,” who robbed six other banks in Northern Virginia.

Amin Huie, 42, is being held in the Arlington County Adult Detention Facility after being arrested Friday afternoon by Falls Church police officers. Huie is charged with a robbery that occurred at about 3 p.m. at Capital One Bank at 1100 West Broad St. in Falls Church.

Huie is believed to be the “Forever Loyal Bandit,” responsible for six other bank robberies and one attempted robbery in Fairfax and Arlington counties beginning in June 2014, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

The nickname comes from the words "Forever Loyal" printed on a white T-shirt worn by the suspect in a pair of bank robberies in the summer of 2014, according to an FBI wanted poster.

Huie has been identified as the suspect by a police task force investigating the robberies, the Fairfax County police said. The team includes officers from Falls Church, Arlington and Fairfax County, and agents from the FBI Washington Field Office's Violent Crimes Task Force.

On Monday, Fairfax County police detectives obtained four more robbery warrants that will be served on Huie upon his release from the Arlington County jail, the police said.
