Police Release Photos of Suspect in Armed Robbery

Fairfax County Police on Friday released photos of a suspect in an armed robbery of the Shell gas station located at 6519 Arlington Blvd. in the Falls Church area of the county.

Police say that the suspect robbed the station Sunday afternoon at about 12:23 p.m. A 52-year-old man, the cashier at the Shell gas station, reported that a man came into the office, produced a handgun and demanded money.

An undisclosed amount of cash was handed over and the victim did not require medical attention.

The suspect fled on foot. He was described as white, 25-30 years old, with an average build, with a beard, police said. He was wearing a dark baseball cap and a gray shirt.
