Police Report Bicycles Stolen from Garages

Both were stolen from homes on S. Maple Street in Falls Church.

From Falls Church Police, the latest crime report, from Aug. 4-10, released this week. NOTE: This report is not a definitive list of all criminal activity and is subject to change upon investigation. Driving Under the Influence, 200 block S. West St. On Aug.4, Kenneth D. Scheurn, 31, of
Purcellville, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.


Narcotics Violation and Public Drunkenness, 300 block S. Maple Ave. On Aug. 5, Robert L.
Spell, Jr., 45, of Alexandria, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Public Drunkenness.

Larceny from Building, 400 block S. Maple Ave. On Aug. 6, police were notified that a bicycle
was stolen from a residential garage sometime after Aug. 3. Locks were cut in the process.


Larceny from Building, 929 W. Broad St. (Dancing Mind Yoga Studio) On Aug. 7, police
were notified that a grill and table were stolen sometime in the evening of Aug. 5.

Larceny from Building, 6763 Wilson Blvd. #1 (Hoang Yen Travel) On Aug. 7, police were
notified that a purse was stolen from the business.


Driving Under the Influence, 300 block W. Broad St. On Aug.8, police investigated a motor
vehicle collision. One of the drivers, Sungchul Rhee, 45, of the City of Falls Church, was
arrested for Driving Under the Influence.


Shoplifting, 134 W. Broad St. (CVS Pharmacy) On Aug. 8, Robert. S. Smith, 52, of
Washington, DC, was arrested for shoplifting merchandise.


Larceny from Building, 6757 Wilson Blvd. (Eden Center) On Aug. 8, police were notified that
an unattended wallet was stolen.


Larceny from Building, 400 block S. Maple Ave. On Aug. 8, police received a report of a
stolen bicycle from a residential garage. After an investigation from some leads, Ramy J.
Yousuf, 19, of Falls Church, was arrested for Grand Larceny.

Larceny from Building, 1230 W. Broad St. (Giant Foods) On Aug. 10, police were notified that an unattended iPhone was stolen.
