UPDATE: Falls Church Area Man Found

Miguel Bermudez Alvarado, 69, was last seen Saturday night. Police said Tuesday morning he has been found 'safe and sound.'

UPDATE, Tuesday 7:35 a.m.: Fairfax County Police said Tuesday morning that a Falls Church area man who had gone missing Saturday and reported missing Sunday has been found ”safe and sounds.” No other details were given.

A Falls Church area man has been reported missing, according to Fairfax County Police.

On Sunday, Aug. 10, Miguel Bermudez Alvarado was reported missing by his family. Alvarado was last seen at the family residence in the 7600 block of Broadway Drive in Falls Church on Saturday, Aug. 9, around 9 pm.

Alvarado is not familiar with the area and may appear confused. He speaks very little English. He has been known to walk the neighborhood and to Jefferson District Park. He is prescribed several medications that he may be in need of and has been listed as a missing person.

Alvarado is described as white, about 5 feet 1 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds, with grey hair and brown eyes. He is 69 years old and possibly wearing a blue backpack.
