Police Seek Information Regarding Dog Bite Incident

A dog bit a teenager in the leg Sunday.

On Sunday, September 28, between 5 and 6 p.m. near the intersection of James St. and James Ct. at Virginia Ave., a teenage boy was bitten on the leg by a dog, according to a news release from the City of Falls Church.

The dog, which was on a leash and was being walked by an adult, is described as small, having mostly brown with some white fur, and possibly a beagle or Jack Russell terrier.

The dog walker is described as a white female, about 30 years old, medium height, heavy-set, with medium brown hair. The owner of the dog might not know the victim was injured.
