Shell Gas Station Robbed at Gunpoint in Falls Church Area

Fairfax County Police say incident took place at 12:23 p.m. Saturday in the Mason Police District.

A gas station on Arlington Boulevard was robbed at gunpoint Saturday afternoon, according to Fairfax County Police.

Police say the robbery in the 6500 block of Arlington Boulevard, took place Saturday at 12:23 p.m.

A 52-year-old man, the cashier at the Shell gas station, reported that a man came into the office, produced a handgun and demanded money, police said. An undisclosed amount of cash was handed over and the victim was not injured, police said.

The suspect fled on foot. He was described as white, 25-30 years old, with an average build, with a beard, police said. He was wearing a dark baseball cap and a gray shirt.
