Update: No Bomb Threat Found At City Hall After Evacuation

BREAKING: Police gave an all clear after a bomb threat was called in at Falls Church City Hall Thursday evening.

(Updated 6:43 p.m. Thursday) FALLS CHURCH, VA -- Falls Church City Hall (300 Park Ave.) and the Community Center (223 Little Falls St.) were evacuated Thursday evening for a report of a bomb threat. Police gave an all clear after finding no device shortly after 6 p.m. The city's K9 bomb sniffing dog did a sweep of the site.

Access to City Hall and the Community Center is now open after police blocked them off during evacuation.

The community meeting on the City Hall Renovation Project at 7:30 p.m. Thursday will be happening as planned. Attendees should use the police entrance at G2.
