CVFR Hosts Open House on Oct. 5 to Celebrate Fire Prevention Week
Fire Prevention Week is Oct. 5-11. Join CVFR on Oct. 5, 11:30-3:00, for a free lunch & fun activities for the whole family!
Chancellor Volunteer Fire & Rescue invites the community to an Open House event on Sunday, Oct. 5 from 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM to kickoff national Fire Prevention Week (Oct. 5-11). The Open House will take place at CVFR’s Company 5, located at 5992 Plank Road.
“The theme of Fire Prevention Week this year is Working Smoke Alarms Save Lives,” said Kevin Dillard, Administrative Chief of CVFR. “Every home should have at least one smoke alarm and larger homes should have several. Also, it is important to test the alarm often, ideally once a month.”
