The best time to pick up a new language is at a young age, so why not start this summer? Elementary Spanish at Parrish Learning Zone will teach you basic vocabulary such as greetings, body parts, animals, colors, numbers, occupations, and phrases used in everyday conversation. You’ll engage in hands on projects to learn about the culture, food, dance, and music of Spanish speaking countries. A geographic focus on South America will be incorporated as you learn traditional dances, cook and sample Latin American foods, and participate and learn about holidays and cultural practices. (Grades 3-5)
