Join us on August 11 from 10am-2 pm for Second Saturdays at the Museum! Downtown Fredericksburg has history on every block, and it's obvious when you look at the buildings. Students ages 12 and up will meet at the Fredericksburg Area Museum and spend the day touring and sketching Fredericksburg's architectural past and present, and then brainstorming about its future. A fee of $10 will cover all expenses, and participants should bring a lunch. RSVP to Janelle Kennedy no later than Wednesday, August 8.
Second Saturdays at the Museum is a regularly scheduled family program that includes hands-on activities, make-and-take crafts, and an opportunity to explore the Museum’s exhibits. The program is held on the second Saturday of each month, with varying topics and themes. Second Saturdays at the Museum is a FREE program unless otherwise specified. Registration for this event is required. For additional information on this program, please contact Janelle Kennedy, jkennedy@famcc.org, or 540-371-3037, ext. 142.
For more information on this event, or for additional programming information, visit us at www.famcc.org. The mission of the Fredericksburg Area Museum and Cultural Center is to collect, interpret and present the history of the Fredericksburg region and community.
